Sis Connie Chancellor and Sis Rosalie, daughters, Megan and Lily
took me throughout Oklahoma City, thimble hunting.
We went to 4-5 stores before we finally found
Owl, a wise owl
1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men;
and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
Proverbs 2:1-6
My son, if thou wilt receive my words,
and hide my commandments with thee;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,
and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,
and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,
and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Last stop, the Savage Quilter,
A fat-quarter sale!
nuff said.
As we drove around sis Connie and I became friends
sharing burdens and being encouraged that God is still in control with wisdom.
Brother David Chancellor and the Farmer spent the day together.
I asked them if they had solved all the world’s problems.
Bro. David said ‘they hadn’t caused any.’
